How to Find Us

Evangel Church is conveniently located in the center of Thunder Bay in the InterCity area.  We are adjacent to the campus of Lakehead University and just one block north of Central Avenue.

By Transit Bus

If you're coming by transit bus, check the schedules and route maps on the website of Thunder Bay Transit.  Though we don't have the best bus service to our location, a couple of different routes will bring you within a block or two of where we're located.

The one route that will get you closest to the Church is #9 Junot (get off at the corner of Tungsten and Lithium, and walk west on Lithium to Balmoral, where you'll find us right across the street).

The #8 James route will get you quite close on weekdays and Saturdays (get off at the corner of Central and Balmoral, and find us just a short walk north on Balmoral), but this route is basically non-existent on Sundays ... the day we really need it!  Unfortunately, if you're coming from the south end of the city on Sunday, you'll have to change buses at the InterCity Mall and catch a #9 Junot heading north, and then get off at Tungsten and Lithium as we've noted above.

By Car
