"GEMS" stands for "Girls Empowered for Ministry and Service."  It's our weekly club for girls between the ages of 5 and 12.  It's a lot like Brownies or Girl Guides or other girls clubs that you may be familiar with.  There are lots of crafts, songs, sports and other activities every week.  Most significantly, the girls learn important truth from the Bible from fine Christian women who serve as their leaders.

They get together on Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and they meet in the Fellowship Hall of the Church.

There's a small fee that is charged at the beginning of the year that covers some of the costs and a group t-shirt for each of the girls.  However, we never turn anyone away for lack of ability to pay.  As with all our groups for kids, they are led by fine team of leaders who are fully approved to work with kids and have been properly screened to ensure the safety of the children who attend.
