One of the great programs for kids at Evangel is Junior Church.  This is a story and activity time for 2-5 year olds that occurs during the morning service every Sunday.  They get sent out together as a group about 30-40 minutes after the service begins, so we ask parents to keep their kids with them until that time.  They'll be called up to the front by one of the pastors who will pray for them and send them out with one of the leaders for that Sunday.

The kids are taught and supervised by an outstanding and dedicated team of Junior Church leaders.  Each one has been properly approved through out "Plan to Protect" program.

One of the features of that program is young child security.  If you have a child in this age bracket that you would like to send to Junior Church, we ask that you go to our Information Desk when you arrive on Sunday morning.  There you will sign your child in and be given a small "badge" that should be pinned to the child's clothing.  You will also be given a matching badge that you are to keep with you and turn in to the leaders when you go to pick up your child at the end of the service.  This ensures that our leaders only release your child to you as the parent, or an individual approved by you.

Of course, if you are new to Evangel and your children are nervous going to Junior Church alone, you are free to come with them until such a point that they feel more comfortable.
