Manny and Pina have been in full time ministry since 1982.  They served as pastors in South Africa and Portugal and, for the last 12 years, in Canada to the Portuguese-speaking community in Winnipeg.

During a part of this time, Manny taught at a Bible College in Portugal where he also served as dean of men and Christian service director.  Manny has taught and spoken in various parts of Portugal and Canada, and in other countries such as South Africa, Ukraine, England, USA, Brazil and Swaziland.

Pina has had an effective pastoral ministry which has included Sunday school director, women's group leader and counselling.  Apart from the local church ministry she has also spoken to women's groups in South Africa, Portugal, Brazil and Canada.  Her experience in the marketplace, and specifically in the insurance industry will be an asset in the work she has been asked to do in Mozambique.

The main thrust of Manny's work at the Bible College in Maputo involves: training of pastors who have had no formal theological education, teaching various courses of Bible, theology and pastoral trainng in the Bachelor of Theology program and supervision of graduate students' thesis development.

Pina is involved with general administrative work, serving as coordinator for ChildCARE Plus in the southern part of the country and training in the areas of Christian Education and women's ministry.
